ANIMAL CONCERTOS

STANDARD

  1. Standard three movements.

  2. Standard orchestrations for all movements.

**** AND ****

TAUTENHAHN

  1. Four or more movements.

  2. Each movement uses different orchestration.

  3. Structural forms, Movements like the soloist will never play simultaneously with the Orch.

  4. Soloist will play 10 notes of the chromatic scale and  the other two by the Orch.

  5. Each concerto also has one movement representing an animal like The Hummingbird, The Spiders Web, and Temperamental Elephant.

These changes give my concertos a more individualistic character. Also lending themselves to the importance of the solo instrument.
